'This song is dedicated to the late Bill Dwyer. Tim and Kris met him in 1972 when he was a vocal advocate of LSD, he had been arrested for supplying trips. We agreed to give him a reference to the court saying what a good person he was, it never came to that, the case was eventually dropped. It was Bill who organised the first Windsor Free Festival, I played there, it should have been as Grobbert and Duff but the band had split by then. Bill was an anarchist, maybe some thought he was the Antichrist as well but he did have some very fine acid'. |
